Online Giving

God and Money

There are several methods you can use to bless Meadow Creek Church with your tithes and offerings. Many of these methods may be more convenient for you than traditional cash and checks. All of these methods help Meadow Creek minimize handling costs and better plan for the future.

One of the easiest ways to give is to setup an electronic payment with your own financial institution's online banking website. Please see our special notes about privacy and online security later in this section.

Online Giving

Meadow Creek has teamed up with an on-line giving service called E-Giving. This service utilizes electronic funds transfer and debit card transactions. It's easy to get started and very convenient to use.

Here are some of the benefits of using this method of giving:

  • Continue to donate while away from home
  • Schedule recurring transactions
  • Receive a receipt for presentation if you desire
  • Access transaction history for record keeping requirements

Special notes on privacy/security: Online debit card payments and electronic funds transfers are sometimes a concern due to security and privacy issues. Meadow Creek uses a highly experienced vendor to process such payments. The strictest privacy protections will be applied to these transactions and your name and other data will not be shared with anyone but authorized Meadow Creek staff.

Corporate Matching Gifts

Many employers have matching gifts programs. There are several different ways this program is utilized. This usually does not change the amount that you personally give (although some may charge a small fee), but the employer will often double it as a benefit to our church and/or our missions work. While there are usually limitations on how much an employer will match, the process is usually quite simple. The following companies are ones which Meadow Creek currently receives matching gifts from: Microsoft, Boeing, Starbucks, and Safeco. Other companies which participate in this program are:

Abbott Lab Adobe
Albertson's Allied Signal
Honeywell Amgen
Anheuser-Busch Co. AT&T
Bank of America Borden
Circuit City Costco
ESM Consulting Gap
Home Depot IBM
InfoSpace Intel
Medtronic Merrill Lynch
Nintendo Nintendo
Nobartis Pfizer
Sun Micro Systems Washing Mutual
WRQ

Please check with your human resources department to inquire as to whether your employer participates in this generous program.

Giving Envelopes

Each Sunday a gift giving envelope is included in the church bulletin. If you would like to receive credit for your tax-deductible contribution, please complete your personal information on the envelope when enclosing cash. It is not necessary to use the envelopes for checks unless you prefer the privacy it offers. Giving envelopes are available every Sunday at the Fellowship Café. Please take as many as you would like and use them
(1) to relay information regarding your cash contribution
(2) for privacy
(3) as a reminder to bring your tithe to church.
